Lifting Jamaican children and families through educational and spiritual transformation.
What started as a short-term mission trip for the Chase family to Robin’s Nest Children’s Home is being transformed into a full-fledged mission to and in Jamaica. This year will be the sixth summer mission, yet six years in, we truly have only just begun. Each year our team looks very different and we always look forward to seeing how God shapes it.
This year our team will go back to Jamaica July 21 to July 30. We will spend a majority of our time at the fishing village in Montego Bay. The fishing village is a very impoverished village down by the beautiful waters of Jamaica. While there, we will spend our mornings at the basic school in the village doing CVBS. We are excited to bus over children from Flanker (another squatting village across the highway) as we did last year. We will then spend the afternoons working on the school to make much needed improvements, spending quality time with children, visiting and praying with folks in the village and providing a bible study for the ladies. We are hoping to provide the families in the village with grocery bags of food, clothing, and school supplies. Most importantly we will be sharing the love of Jesus with them.
As always we are keeping our eyes fixed on him and moving forward trusting through His divine power we have all that we need and are so thankful to be called by his own glory and goodness!
