CVBS is heading back to Ukraine!
The Moas family adopted their daughter from an orphanage in Ukraine in 2016. In 2017, the Moases and their four children returned to Ukraine to bring CVBS to the orphanage village, reaching around 40 orphanage and village children. The CVBS program was adapted to the village church’s all-day camp format. In 2018, the Moases led a mission team of 13 people and returned to Ukraine to conduct CVBS camp and assist with construction work at the village church. The CVBS camp grew to more than 125 children!
This year, the Moases are taking a team of 15 to Ukraine. In addition to conducting CVBS camp for children ages 3–11, the team will conduct a sports camp geared for teenagers that will run concurrently with CVBS. The goal is to reach teens who so desperately need to know of the hope we have in Jesus. Many of orphanage teens will “age-out” and be on their own at age 16.
We need your help to make the all-day CVBS camp and the sports camp happen. Every dollar donated to this mission will go towards the CVBS camp, sports camp, church service projects, and the orphanage. Several fundraisers are planned to support this mission. Prayerfully consider coming to hear more about the mission and how God is alive and moving in Ukraine!
